Our client is a global provider of innovative, state of the art products and services for comprehensive engine driven management, protection, monitoring, and control solutions. They offer the full line of engine instrumentation products from FW Murphy Production Controls along with extensive engine control development expertise from EControls to provide customers with a complete solution approach for engine control, protection, and monitoring.

We are seeking for highly motivated Electronics Technician who can work 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.

  • Perform Failure analysis of warranty return electronic products to identify system failures

  • Troubleshoot circuit boards and write reports for a customer.

  • Identify ways to test customer-reported issue and document the procedures.

  • Adjust or replace defective or improperly functions circuitry or electronics components, using hand tools or soldering iron.

  • Assist quality and engineers in providing customer support and education, working with users to identify needs determine source of problems or to provide information on product information on product use as necessary.

  • Communicate findings to the quality team and assist in the development of corrective actions to prevent reoccurring failures.

  • Education: Associate degree in electronics engineering technology or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: 2 to 5 years experience reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings or engineering instructions. 2 to 5 years experience testing electro-mechanical units using standard test equipment and analyzing to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment. Excellent soldering techniques with both with through-hole and surface mount technologies. Ability to read and interpret technical data. Must be able to work from moderately complex blueprints, inspection specifications, and verbal or written instructions with minimal supervision.

  • Skills: Soldering, Blueprint, Microsoft Office, Use of Electronic test equipment, good communication skills, and time management.
