Job Position Description
• Provide general janitorial support as required in the area of housekeeping, trash removal, cardboard removal and recycling.
• Will be assigned specific tasks to be executed individually and will be held responsible for timely and satisfactory completion of the job.
• Position requires knowledge in janitorial duties for a large manufacturing facility with numerous office locations throughout the site.
• Must have knowledge of industrial floor cleaning equipment and proper use of cleaning with chemicals and equipment.
• To ensure the building’s interior and exterior painting and structure requirements are maintained. Understand the painting standards and to insure these standards are followed.
• Production equipment paintng and ESD painting are required. This task will at times require overtime with little or no prior notice.
• Store all painting materials correctly and follow all policies regarding MSDS/HMIS coding on all painting materials.
• Coordinate all exterior painting with Human Resources and the Security Department as necessary to isolate sections of the parking lots for painting maintenance.
• Modular furniture installation and modification will be a plus.
• General knowledge of minor repairs to plumbing, sheetrock, carpentry, painting, and other industrial type skills and experiences is a plus
• Effective and safe use of powered hand tools will be a plus.

Educational Requirements:
• HS diploma or equivalent.

Basic Requirements:
• Communication skills both written and oral must be effective.
• Ability to follow all safety requirements associated with janitorial products.
• Workweek: Full Time - 30 hours or more per week

Physical and Mental Demands:
• Able to lift 28 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
• Must be able to stand for periods up to 12 hrs.
• Must be able to Push, Pull (racks), Reach, Twist, Turn, Stoop, Walk, Stand for 12 hour.
